TAIPEI -- Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an was expected to cruise to reelection in Taiwan's local voting later this month, alongside Kuomintang (KMT) veteran technocrat Lee Shu-chuan, the party's candidate in neighboring New Taipei.
