Sensex Today, Nifty 50 | Stock Market Live Updates: Find here all the live updates related to Sensex, Nifty, BSE, NSE, share prices and Indian stock markets for 6th November 2026.

After a stellar rally on Thursday, Indian markets are expected to open on weak note, as global markets are witnessing heavy sell-off.

Meanwhile, sell-off in artificial intelligence stocks has taken a heavy toll in global markets: Nasdaq plunged 5.52 per cent, that triggered ripple effect in South Korean markets where Kospi plunged by almost 9 per cent at the market open on Friday, triggering a trading halt on the exchange for about 20 minutes.

However, despite across-the-globe sell off, American Depository Receipts (ADR) of Infosys jumped 4.6 per cent while Wipro ended on flat note. ADRs of HDFC Bank and ICICI Banks also ended higher, signalling resilience of Indian stocks.

Analysts expect Indian markets to remain strong, as foreign portfolio investors turned heavy buyers. In fact, their Thursday’s buying of ₹14,974.68 crore is their largest single-day buying session in over six years.

Indian Inc Q2 financial performance has also helped markets stay resilient as most companies’ results were largely better than expected.

Investors doubt Anthropic's IPO viability, weighing a $1.5 trillion valuation, discounts, and October revenue amid tech-market volatility.

Asian stocks tumble after Wall Street's AI sell-off, with Japan's Nikkei falling 5.7% and South Korea's Kospi dropping 7.4% as Nvidia shares plunge.

Rupee gains on renewed foreign inflows amid tech-sector rout, oil easing, and improving market sentiment, signaling potential near-term stability.

Bitcoin has come under renewed pressure after briefly recovering above $80,000 on November 5. It was quoted at Rs.72,00,744 in an ET Markets snapshot at 1:34 a.m. IST on November 6, down 4.56% over 24 hours. The decline reflects a broader risk-off move, with technology stocks also facing pressure. Immediate support lies near $75,000, followed by the 200-day moving average around $73,188. Resistance is near $80,000. A sustained move above the 30-day moving average at $81,319 would improve the short-term outlook.

Institutional demand remains fragile. US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded outflows of $643.2 million on October 30, $398.6 million on November 2 and $115.6 million on November 3. November 4 brought a modest $74.6 million inflow. However, the three November sessions through November 4 still recorded cumulative outflows of $439.6 million. The single positive session is not yet evidence of a sustained reversal.

On-chain indicators offer a mixed picture. Bitcoin exchange reserves stood at 3.44 million BTC on November 4, down 0.76% over seven days. The Spent Output Profit Ratio, or SOPR, recovered to 1.004 from 0.993 a day earlier. This suggests coins moved on-chain were marginally in profit on aggregate. The improvement needs to persist before it can be read as a stronger recovery signal.
